I'm thirty years old. I have a two year old son. I'm new at this mom thing. I'm also doing this as a single parent, living in my parent's basement. I get help from government assistance programs, not by choice. OH and I'm a recovering drug addict and alcoholic with a history of mental health issues. I'm starting my own business, filing for full permanent custody, going to therapy, attending recovery meetings, working full time, dating and taking care of my son. This is how I survive.
